G'day! We're The Busymen from Brisbane in Australia.  We are an authentic R&B/Garage Band that is out to search and destroy, demilitarise all levels, and

The Busymen was formed in 1997 by Brisbane garage rock affecianado frontman Robert Smith (aka Boston Bob) who plays organ, tambourine, maracas and lead vocals.

The band also consisted of Richard Buchanan on bass guitar and backing vocals, "Scratchy" David Crawford on guitar and Ben Jones on drums.

After several lineup changes over the years, the band now consists of Robert Smith, Jack Mulroney on bass guitar, Jeff Cole on guitar and backing vocals, and Russell Smith on drums.  

The Busymen's highlight has been supporting the bands The Lime Spiders and The Bell-rays during their 26 year career.

The Busymen are currently working on a new album, as well as looking to be the support band for Japanese garage rock band The Fadeaways for their upcoming Australian tour.
